HISTORY

Established by Professors Kim Moo Han (Chungnam National University) and KAMADA Eiji (Hokkaido University), the Korea-Japan Joint Symposium on Building Materials and Construction has been a vital hub for academic exchange for over three decades. Following its first symposium in August 1994, the symposium is proud to celebrate its 30-year history as it moves to Kongju National University in September 2026. We sincerely hope this partnership continues to flourish, further strengthening the bond between the construction industries of Korea and Japan.
